SCOTT M. FANNING, PE, PRESIDENT & CEO
Scott Fanning, PE is a licensed mechanical and electrical engineer in 16 southern states. Scott supervises all aspects of our services for the engineering disciplines. He has more than 40 years of engineering experience, and his expertise includes Complex HVAC Design, Energy Recovery, Tight Temperature and Humidity Control, Fiber Testing and Research Laboratories, Archive Facilities Design, and Health Care Facilities in general. Scott is a graduate of Texas Tech University (BSME 1982). He is a member of the Texas Tech Academy of Mechanical Engineers and serves on the design faculty in the Mechanical Engineering Department at Texas Tech University. Scott is active in the West Texas Chapter of ASHRAE and has served in all offices, including chapter president. He also serves on TC 1.7 Business, Management & General Legal Education. Scott was awarded the TSPE South Plains Chapter's 2018 Engineer of the Year award and was awarded a Lifetime Service Achievement Award by USDA, AMS, Cotton, and Tobacco Program for contributions to USDA’s cotton classing process. Scott has been with Fanning, Fanning & Associates since 1976.

ALLEN WARE, PE, VICE PRESIDENT, CHIEF ELECTRICAL ENGINEER/CONSULTANT

Allen Ware, PE (TX 130686), Is our Chief Electrical Engineer and is responsible for Electrical Engineering Design for the firm. Allen is a licensed electrical engineer who has designed electrical systems for more than 700 projects. He directs the design of projects involving healthcare facilities, laboratories, offices, electrical distribution systems, complex illuminations, and specialized electrical systems. He is responsible for the quality control of construction documents to meet electrical codes, criteria, and standards. Areas of expertise include illumination, building power, electrical distribution, electrical grounding, code compliance, emergency power, and communications. Allen received his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering Technology from Texas Tech University in 1999. Allen has been with Fanning, Fanning & Associates since 1999.

JOHN A. FANNING, 2nd VICE PRESIDENT, CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
John Fanning, PE (TX 34307), was responsible for the design of electrical systems of more than 2000 projects while Vice President from 1974 to 2021. In 2021 he became the Chief Financial Officer and 2nd Vice President. He developed the company’s business database and set up the software used for project tracking, client billing, and payroll. He manages the company’s finances, accounting, and bookkeeping. John received his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Texas Technological College (Lubbock) in 1968.

DOYLE F. FANNING, SECRETARY/TREASURER, PLUMBING ENGINEER
Doyle Fanning, EIT (TX 34041), is the Firm’s Chief Plumbing Engineer, Project Manager, and is a Mechanical Engineer. Doyle is primarily over all Plumbing Design projects, HVAC load, and design work on select projects. Equipment selection, sizing & specifying. Submittal Processing. Doyle received his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Texas Tech University in 2003. Doyle has been with Fanning, Fanning & Associates since 1983.

MARCUS KESLIN, LIFE SAFETY SPECIALIST, ELECTRICAL ENGINEER
Marcus Keslin, EIT (TX 18399), has been project manager for the design of electrical systems for more than 1000 projects. He directs the design of projects involving communication facilities, laboratories, generator facilities, complex electrical distribution systems, complex illumination, and specialized electrical systems. Marcus is responsible for quality control of construction documents to meet electrical codes, criteria, and standards. Areas of expertise include illumination, building power, electrical distribution, electrical grounding, code compliance, emergency power, fire alarm, communications, and video surveillance. Marcus received his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering Technology from Texas Tech University in 1983. Marcus has been with Fanning, Fanning & Associates since 1986.

TYLER FANNING, ENERGY ANALYST, MECHANICAL ENGINEER

Tyler Fanning, EIT (TX 45070), has assisted in the design of mechanical systems for projects involving healthcare and educational facilities, laboratories, LEED compliance, and other facilities such as healthcare clinics, banks, offices, and dealerships. Before joining the firm in 2016, Tyler’s experience included his role as a Project Development Engineer for Johnson Controls in Atlanta, GA. Tyler worked on some of Johnson Controls’ largest performance contracting projects, including Hawaii International Airport. Areas of expertise include energy modeling, energy conservation, and temperature/humidity control systems. Tyler received his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Texas Tech University in 2010. Tyler has been with Fanning, Fanning & Associates since 2016.

ADAM P. BARTHOLD, HVAC, MECHANICAL ENGINEER
Adam Barthold, EIT (TX 78028), is responsible for project engineering and design of HVAC projects. Adam is a Mechanical Engineer and is primarily responsible for producing construction documents - drawings and specifications - for the firm’s largest and most complex design projects. His past design projects include hospitals, research lab facilities, central plants, office buildings, schools, and restaurants. Adam has demonstrated the ability to produce quality drawings and specifications under difficult time and construction cost constraints. Adam received his Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Texas Tech University in 2022. Adam has been with Fanning, Fanning & Associates since 2020. He has completed all requirements for Professional Engineering Licensure and is slated to become a licensed PE by 2026.

COLE TRAMMELL, LIGHTING/POWER, ELECTRICAL ENGINEER
Cole Trammell, EIT (TX 77746), an electrical engineer, assists in electrical systems for projects involving healthcare clinics, educational facilities, laboratories, and other facilities such as banks, offices, and auto dealerships. Areas of expertise include lighting calculations, lighting design, and power design. Cole received both his Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering Technology and Bachelor Science of Computer Science from Texas Tech University in 2022. Cole has been with Fanning, Fanning & Associates since 2021.

ISAAC DAVIS-TOVAR, HVAC, MECHANICAL ENGINEER
Isaac Davis-Tovar, a mechanical engineering graduate, is primarily responsible for HVAC and plumbing designs. Design projects include schools, research lab facilities, office buildings, gyms, dealerships, military projects, as well as general building space/lab renovation projects. Isaac is from New Mexico and generally handles all HVAC and plumbing design for projects in New Mexico. Isaac received his Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Texas Tech University in 2024. Isaac has been with Fanning, Fanning & Associates since 2022.
